In view of this Rowland requested members to identify their preferred meal choices and venue so that plans can go ahead for a meal on Thursday 4th March 2010.
If there are other proposed venues these will need to be evaluated and menu selections and prices obtained prior to our next meeting on 15th January 2010.
Non-cancer Related Stoma Patients
On-going we are waiting for Julie to set date early in 2010 for an exploratory meeting to enable us to book an additional meeting room at St Margaret’s Hospice.
Cancer Myths Quiz
Rowland handed out copies of a Cancer Myths Quiz that Heather & Roger Sutton had taken part in at an ASWCS meeting; there were 15 questions with multiple choice answers. Rowland invited members to complete the quiz and mark the answers they believed to be true. The highest score among the 25 members at our Party was Sylvia with 11 out of 15 correct. (Rowland did not take part as he had seen the answers when Roger gave him the Quiz questions)
Refreshment Break and Party Time
Stan & Hazel ran a raffle of member donated prizes during the break that raised £30 for our Raffle Fund.
Refreshment donations of £17.10 were passed on to St Margaret’s by Rowland.
Thanks to everyone who brought along refreshments.
Open Forum
The Open Forum part of the meeting was not held as this was our Party Time.

Raffle Fund Balance
The balance of our raffle fund was £138.72 and with the addition of today’s £30 rises to £168.72.
